About Cadance's wings not being seen on this Picture, a fun fact: did you know that, on Lauren Faust's first ideas, Cadance was suposed to be a regular unicorn and not a princess at all? However, Hasbro changed to fix the whole Pinkelestia mess - so they could launch an acurate White Celestia and still have a pink pony princess (P3) 'cause "that's what girls want". Now you know why a goddamn princess was working as baby-sitter.
Yeah, but still... Somepony's gotta at least know, I mean, really, do people just assume alicorns are BORN alicorns?
I would see why they would, but just like Twilight, Celestia, Luna, and Cadence all became alicorns (C&L out of mostly headcanons, for this proves nothing, as there has never been stated to be another way), and were not born alicorns.
I still find it kind of strange that only ONE artist I've seen so far actually remembered she was a pegasus, or has actually read the book in which it was stated in.
How about Celestia and Luna? There are pictures of them as babies and nobody whines "this horn and/or wings is wrong, fix it so your picture doesn't violate the law". Then again, no never-confirmed-as-canon-whatever was made talking about them so far...
Weeelll, you do have a point there. but it's kinda to the way you can imagine of, like maybe they WERE alicorns (yet this is not a confirmed possibility, like we just discussed, and both Twilight and, in the book, Cadance, were escorted into princesshood by Celestia) What are the chances that two sisters coincidentally become the symbol of day and night, and all of Equestria? Then again, this is a world where destiny controls everything.
