Princess Cadence's mussed up haristyle from S3E12 reminded me of the Mechromancer from Borderlands 2 for some reason; it might have been the pigtail. Either way, this was bound to happen somewhere in the MLP community. Gaige's skill tree has a bunch of references to My Little Pony including "Evil Enchantress", "Fancy Mathematics", and "20% Cooler".

Okay, so, what kind of game IS Borderlands 2 anyway? And do I need to play the first Borderlands to understand the second one? I got a PS3 recently, and I was thinking of possibly getting one of the Borderlands games...

It's essentially pretty much Diablo with guns... lots of guns. Enough guns for the game to break a Guinness World record for it. You don't pick up Borderlands for the story line, or the character development; it's the guns. All the guns. In fact Borderlands 1 was rated for having the worst ending in recent history for a video game, arguably moreso than Mass Effect 3, but nobody cares. Why? Because guns.
