The Real Villains of Season 5 Episode 1

You do realize that a detached cutie mark will automatically seek out its owner and not just some random filly, right?
We know NOW! But if the cutie mark's magically bound to a pony, why can it be trapped inside a jar?
I don't know- it was a magic jar, maybe?  Then why not just suspend them all inside one container?
Because... I... uh... Hm. That's actually a really good question.  Ooh! Ooh! I know! I KNOW!
  By shoving all the cutie marks inside an enclosed volume they'd have to add so many layers to animate it might be related to Shrek.
Who's Shrek? He's an ogre, of course! Lives in a swamp, and he's love and life.
I enjoy everything nature has to offer. However, I prefer admiring Shrek from a distance.  Uh huh...
